During his time at CB, he transacted over 52 assets including regional malls, community centers, neighborhood centers and specialty retail in 10 states. Transactions ranged from individual assets to multi-asset offerings with a total value in excess of $430 million dollars. Clients included REITs, pension funds, life companies, and private investment groups and developers. Having focused on retail investment sales in the Southeast, Charles has extensive knowledge of the primary and secondary markets in the region including the specific dynamics which impact shopping center performance. Professional affiliations include the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Charles has authored a number of articles on retail real estate investment and has been a contributing editor to Shopping Center Business magazine. Charles holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA in real estate and finance from the University of Georgia. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in Georgia. NATHANIEL A. TOWERNathaniel “Nate” Tower was founder and managing member of Tower Realty Investments, LLC (TRI). Prior to the formation of TRI, Mr. Tower was the Chief Investment Officer (“CIO”) at Phillips Edison & Company (“PECO”), one of the nation’s largest and fastest growing owner/operators of grocery-anchored shopping centers and premier acquisition groups. As CIO, Mr. Tower led PECO’s effort to acquire and finance and took the Portfolio from 5 centers in 1996 to over 90 centers when he left the company in 2005. During this period, Mr. Tower bought 85 shopping centers in 50 separate transactions, with over $490.0 million in total transaction value. At a cumulative capitalization rate of 10.25%, he consistently found investment opportunities 50 to 150 basis points above the average market cap rate for similar shopping centers. Mr. Tower’s leadership and transaction success at PECO increased the companies Net Operating Income in excess of $50.65 million and the value-add nature of the opportunities created an additional $250 million of net new value for the investors in the company. Prior to joining Phillips Edison & Company, Mr. Tower spent 7 years at Collier Pinkard, a premiere 3rd party Real Estate Brokerage and Property Management Company in Baltimore. Mr. Tower started his career at Pinkard as a property manager where he handled the day-to-day operations of a retail and office portfolio consisting of 12 properties. After 3 years in this role, Mr. Tower moved into a portfolio accountant role for a portfolio of 18 properties. Mr. Tower spent his last 3 years at Collier Pinkard in the sales and leasing side, where he became one of the highest volume leasing agents in the company. Mr. Tower has his Bachelor of Arts from the College of Wooster and his Masters in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University. Mr. Tower formed the JEMICY School’s Alumni Association and served on the school’s board for 8 years. In addition, Mr. Tower served as the founding Chairman of the Baltimore Leukemia Cup Regatta. He is currently serving as treasurer of the Baltimore City Yacht Association. KEVIN A. DIBONAKevin DiBona, former Senior Vice President and Partner of CB Richard Ellis of Virginia, Inc., was responsible for all of its retail investment sale activity in the Mid-Atlantic. Kevin has over 14 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry and has sold all types of investment properties along the East Coast. Since 1993, Kevin has focused exclusively on grocery anchored shopping centers and has closed over $200 million in sales. Kevin's main responsibility included underwriting and marketing shopping centers for insurance companies, pension funds, and real estate investment trusts. His in-depth knowledge of the retail market in the Southeast, coupled with his strong relationships with owners, developers and brokers throughout the region is instrumental in producing acquisition opportunities quickly and effectively. Past affiliations include Divaris Real Estate, Inc., located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Barnes, Morris, Pardoe & Foster, Inc., (Insignia ESG) in Washington, DC. Kevin is a graduate of the College of William and Mary, located in Williamsburg, Virginia, where he earned a degree in Corporate Finance. He is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the State of North Carolina. Professional affiliations include the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Hampton Roads Commercial Real Estate Council. Kevin has been published in numerous periodicals such as the Corridor Real Estate Journal and Southeast Real Estate Business. While Kevin will not be actively involved in Broad Reach Retail Partners, LLC, he will continue to provide asset management services for properties previously acquired by Coastal Capital Partners, LLC. |
